Happy birthday Sollehin

(1) Today is my birthday, 12th December. I was born on 12th December 1983, so I'm approximately 26 years old now.

(2) In this 26 years old, I have been trying to find my way in this everchanging world. There's many achievement that I've made, yet there are so many more to march to. And I will march to them, regardless what ever it takes me.

(3) Go Sollehin go! Gambatte kudasai! ;-)

(1) Sami Yusuf, warga Britain berketurunan Iran ini, digelar 'Rock
Star of the Muslim world'. Tapi jgn salah faham, dia x nyanyi lagu
rock pun, malahan kontradiksinya dia nyanyi lagu nasyid.

(2) Saya cadangkan penggiat-penggiat nasyid Malaysia tgk seni Sami
Yusuf mencipta lagu nasyid, fresh indulgence. Dia pakar instruments
music mcm piano dll. Bukan macam kita, byk nyanyi group, beramai-ramai
kat taman sambil 'menari-nari anak'. Kalau anda nak tahu, lagu Asma
Allah ni dijadikan lagu tema Jejak Rasul di TV3, Ramadhan lepas.

(3) Lagu Asma Allah ni mmg nasyid yg sungguh refreshing..dan membuat
kita mengingatkan diri kita, siapa diri kita sebenarnya, dan
tanggungjawab kita pada agama. Cuba anda cari video clipnya di
youtube. Video clip antarabangsa tu. Bila saya lihat lirik ni, hati
jadi sgt sayu...

Indecisive

(1) It is almost certain that in our lives, sometimes we need to make difficult choices.

 

(2) These decisions that we chose unavoidably will effect our lifes. This is why some of us might be scared of what it may brings. We also need help from others to choose for us, even we know what we should take using our logic...most probably we don't want to take full blame if our decision go disarray.

 

(3) This sort of thing happens to everybody, including me.

 

(4) There are many steps to make decision. I will not elaborate about this, since many of us already know how. Some of you maybe more expert than I am. Or you can search internet to find those steps.

 

(5) In the end, after making all preparations and after choosing what's the best, one thing you must know is WHY YOU MAKE THAT DECISION. If you understand why you took your decision, you will not grief for whatever happen after. You can't expect everything will go on your way. All we can do is prepare the best.

 

(6) It's life, it can't be perfect isn't it?

 

 

New job

(1) Guys, I've got a new job today.

(2) This morning I went to an interview session with the company's GM. What was first started quite serious (at least for me) turned out to be a leasure. We chat about many things, including girlfriends and the origin of my name (he asked me about my name, since he was unfamiliar with it. I told him what's 'Sollehin' in arabic means) and then came the most enlightening phrase.."You're 26 but still not married.." haha.

(3) After the session, there was a line tour by production manager. After the session end, I went back to my current workplace. At 3 p.m, the new company's representative contacted me and inform.."You got the job".

(4) I will start working on there on 1st February 2010. But my service end at NEC on the 22nd of January. So...1 week time to relax ;-)

Riana's marriage

(1) Riana, my former coursemate in Material Sciences programme in UKM marriage ceremony was held at her family's house at Pandamaran, Klang.

(2) Riana was also one of my teammates under Prof Dr Sahrim's conducted thesis group. We were researching natural rubber composite back then. She was very helpful, providing me mostly with lecture's notes during our time back there.

(3) Anyway, congratulation to her! ;-)
